101 Goals in 1001 days

Hibiscus-Goal

I’m a sucker for lists. I like making a list (or ten) and feeling the sense of accomplishment when each and every item on the list is crossed off. So I was super excited when I saw the 101 goals in 1001 days challenge. This was right up my alley!

The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

Why 1001 Days?
The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than one year, because it allows several seasons to complete the goals, which is better for organizing and timing certain tasks such as overseas trips, or outdoor activities.

My 101 goals list includes goals from the entire spectrum, including: personal, financial, humanitarian, professional, and travel; and because this is a travel blog I’m sharing the goals related to travel and wanderlust.

    Hi!

I have created my own list of things I would like to accomplish before I turn 30. I have a quick question… How were you able to pay for all of your trips, without breaking the bank?

    Love the blog so far!

      Hey Miss Courtney!
That’s a great question. For us it’s all about budgeting. I am a budgeting nerd. I also spend a lot of my free time looking for travel deals so I can jump on the deal when I see it. Check out this post (which links to some of my other budgeting posts):

I would recommend reading my post, “The World Traveler’s Plan of Action” which is included on the above post. 🙂

Hope you find something that helps! Let me know what you think. 🙂 Good luck and happy travels!

Sounds great! I might do this one day too, when my life is sorted out :’D

My advice to you would be to start small. If you’re interested in the 101 goals challenge but don’t want to fully commit, maybe try 12 goals for one year (basically one goal a month). 🙂
      Good luck!!
