If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now you probably know that we love Halloween around this house. (Remember last year’s Halloween post)? If you’re a recent follower of Pictures and Plane Tickets then the easiest way to fill you in is to encourage you to read last year’s Halloween post–those poor dogs. 😉
The changing of the seasons brings a chill in the air and creates the most beautiful colors in the leaves. I love all of the Halloween decor around the house, and I love taking walks around the neighborhood to see how creative my neighbors are. EVERYTHING about Halloween makes me happy: decorating pumpkins, cauldrons of candy, planning costumes, reading scary stories, watching scary movies, haunted houses, pumpkin spice lattes–need I say more?
This past weekend my husband and I visited a Pumpkin Patch in the Salt Lake Valley. We enjoyed the 70 degree sunny weather (rare for late October) while trying to find the perfect pumpkins for our front porch. I’m not much of a DIY’er but every once in a while I get a creative streak in me.
A couple of weekends ago I made a burlap banner for my cousins upcoming baby shower and while I was at it I decided to make a spoooooooky Halloween sign as well.
I hope you have a safe and fun HALLOWEEN! How do you celebrate?
