Movin’ on Up

Hello lovelies!

I’ve been noticeably absent from my blog lately. Excuses aside, I have been extremely busy at the office. I’m happy to say that I can officially announce my big promotion at work. It is an incredibly awesome opportunity, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. That being said, because it’s our “busy season” I haven’t had much free time this month. If you’ve been following my blog for some time, you’ll know that my motto is: You have to Work Hard to Play Hard so it’s just another day in the life, for this girl.

I also want to share another big announcement with you. Two weeks ago we adopted the newest member of our family.

Meet Phyllis. She’s a Pekingese and is the perfect puzzle piece to our little family. Aside from being incredibly cute, I LOVE her name! 🙂 She’s the sweetest little thing and is the most low-maintenance dog I think I’ve ever had. The other two fur-kids have welcomed her as well, so all is swell in the Callaway household.

Before I go I wanted to share one of my newest purchases. When I saw the quote, I knew that I had to have it.

What’s new with all of you? Any fun vacations on the horizon?

Congratulations on your promotion, good for you! Also for Phyllis….that is such a great name! Hope you’re having fun with her, sure sounds like you are. 🙂

Thank you. We have been having a lot of fun with Phyllis. For being close to 12 years old, she’s an active little one. Always on the look out for her next spot to lounge. 🙂

Congrats on the promotion… not much new here but will be heading to Myrtle Beach in a month for a week!

Myrtle Beach sounds fabulous. I wish I was headed somewhere soon. My next trip is still about for months away… I need something before then, but I’m afraid with how busy work has been that it’s not going to be possible. Can’t wait to read about your Myrtle Beach adventure.
